The area’s annual ROPEX Stamp Show sponsored by the Rochester Philatelic Association will be held Friday through Sunday, May 20 through 22 at the Canandaigua Civic Center, 250 North Bloomfield Road. Hours are: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with $2 daily admission, free on Sunday.
The event features 15 dealers selling and buying, and non-competitive exhibits from club members. Meetings are planned on Saturday by the Empire State Postal History Society at noon and the American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors at 2 p.m. The ROPEX dutch-treat banquet will be held at Schooner’s Restaurant at 407 Lakeshore Drive, Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Sunday features the youth “Design-a-Stamp” awards presentation at 1 p.m.
