On Saturday, August 20 a very large escort of Wounded Veterans may be passing by your location. Wounded Veterans are being escorted to the 5th Annual Warrior Benefit of Hope at the Greece American Legion.
The escort will consist of numerous Motorcycles, Hot Rods, Corvettes, Law Enforcement, Fire Departments and many others. The community is being asked to join along the route and show your patriotism and support for these men and women who fought for our freedom.
The Escort Route leaves the Veterans Memorial on Route 259 in Spencerport at 9:30 a.m. and travels north through the village to Route 104. It then will head east on 104 and north onto Manitou Road. The route proceeds east to Mill Road, Vintage Lane to Dorsey Road and on to the American Legion.
