Congratulations to Susan Saunders of Greece who won the Hilton Apple Fest Quilt. Susan said she has a special place on the wall in her family room to hang it. She also said both her grandmother and aunt were quilters (blue jean quilts) and she has a deep appreciation for the art form. The quilt was made by Amelia’s Fabric and Yarn Shoppe on Upton Street in Hilton. The proceeds of the quilt will provide two scholarships for seniors in the Hilton High School who plan to attend college.
