Runnings, “Your Home, Farm and Outdoor Store,” will host a Grand Opening event Wednesday, May 10, through Sunday, May 14, at its new store at 4828 Lake Road, Brockport. There will be storewide discounts throughout the five-day-celebration, along with fun events and over $20,000 in grand prizes.
On Wednesday, senior citizens receive 10 percent off their purchase, and on Thursday, military, police and fire department members receive 10 percent off. Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., customers can enjoy a hot dog or brat, chips and drink for $2 with all donations going to Monroe County 4-H . Throughout the weekend, customers can enjoy a free petting zoo, product demonstrations, receive giveaways, enjoy refreshments and take part in other family-oriented events.
Customers can also register to win many prizes, such as the Polaris® Ranger 570 UTV; Runnings gift cards totaling over $2,500; Cub Cadet Riding Lawn Mower; Big Horn Wood Pellet Grill; Big Screen TV and much more.
“We’re amazed at how welcoming the entire community has been since we first announced the store would be opening in Brockport,” said Gary Preusser, Store Manager. “Our grand opening will be very exciting with storewide deals all five days, plus, fun events for kids and adults. And, don’t forget to sign up for all the prizes.”
Runnings opened the 97,000-square-foot store earlier this month. The store is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A complete list of grand opening giveaways and events is available at www.runnings.com.
