Free art exhibition at Tower Fine Arts Center
“Hide and Seek” by Nola Zirin is just one of the works that will be on display during Continuity to Change: Recent History of American Abstraction, a free exhibition at the Tower Fine Arts Center Gallery, 180 Holley Street, Brockport. A reception celebrating the exhibition will be held on Thursday, January 31, at 4 p.m. According to gallery director Tim Massey, this exhibition “chronicles developments in the Abstraction movement from the mid-20th century to the current day, and emphasizes the central tenets the methodology: composition, color, content, and material.” Continuity to Change runs from January 31 through March 3. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. For information, call 585-395-2805.
