This July 4, the Brockport Community Concert Band returns to the Morgan-Manning House grounds after an absence of some years. “We are hoping for a record number of participants this year,” Director Shawn Halquist said. A wide variety of citizens, including current High School Band members and alumni, are expected as in the past.
The event starts at 11 a.m. on the grounds of the historic home located at 151 Main Street in Brockport. Rehearsals will be Tuesday, July 2 and Wednesday, July 3 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Brockport High School Band room. “Anyone with band playing experience is invited to play.
