OFC Creations is preparing for ROC Summer Theater Experience, the largest theater summer camp program in Upstate New York. Under the direction of Eric Vaughn Johnson, professional artists will lead campers in mounting 15 musicals in only seven weeks throughout Rochester.
Most recently, OFC Creations produced the sold out run of The Sound of Music at the Rochester Century Club, the sold out run of The Golden Girls Musical at the Lyric Theater, and the Rochester area premiere of Frozen Jr. to sold out crowds.
ROC Summer Theater Experience will perform from July 8 to August 24 in three locations across Rochester – The Kodak Center, 200 West Ridge Road; The Lyric Theater, 440 East Avenue; and Seton School, 165 Rhinecliff Drive.
Specialty performances include SHOUT: The Mod Musical, performed by five professional adult actresses with songs like “Diamonds Are Forever,” “Downtown,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” “Goldfinger,” “Boots Are Made For Walking” and many more. In August, OFC will bring back America’s Sweetheart of Song: A Tribute to Connie Francis written by and starring Josie Waverly. In September, OFC will present Dogfight: The Musical at the Lyric Theatre as an extended summer camp program.
