Flour City Brewers Fest celebrates 25 years

This August, Flour City Brewers Fest celebrates its 25th-year running. Located at the Rochester Public Market, the festival will take place on August 16. This year, the festival will feature over 70 craft breweries as well as wineries, cideries, distilleries, and kombucha. Flour City Brewers Fest is a summer evening of locally crafted brews, local foods, live music, and more. Set on the cobblestone paths of our historic public market, the festival offers a uniquely-Rochester experience.

Hosted by Rohrbach Brewing Co., the festival brings together local brewers and business owners both from Rochester and across New York State. Sample beers from the growing local beer scene and meet the people behind these brews. The industry has changed drastically since the festival’s first date in 1994. It’s an exciting and ever-changing time in beer, and festival organizers plan to embrace it for years to come.

In celebrating its 25th year, Flour City Brewers Fest will have some exciting changes this year. The festival will welcome a number of new breweries, a new game yard in partnership with Axes & Ales and Rochester Pedal Tours, custom-built lounge areas, a 25th anniversary beer from Rohrbach Brewing Co., and more.

Flour City Brewers Fest takes pride in creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where people can discover beers, meet new people, and celebrate our community. Proceeds of the festival go to Rochester’s Holiday Outreach Center and the NYS Brewers Association. Attendees are encouraged to raise a glass to the local beer makers, no matter their choice of brew. Flour City Brewers Fest is a festival for all.

General admission tickets are $45 and include sample glass, sampling of vendors, and a $5 food voucher towards any food vendor. VIP tickets are sold out. Learn more about the festival and purchase tickets at flourcitybrewersfest.com.
