St. George’s Church welcomes new pastor
St. George’s Episcopal Church has welcomed Gregory J. Kremer as its full-time pastor. Pastor Greg received his Masters in Divinity from Seattle University in Washington and is currently enrolled in the Anglican Studies program at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School. He is a postulant for ordination to the priesthood in the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester. His previous experience includes a 35-year career in a variety of ministries, including youth and young adults, social outreach, and evangelization.
Pastor Greg recently worked for RENEW International, an organization dedicated to spiritual renewal by empowering individuals and communities to encounter God in everyday life, deepen and share faith, and connect faith with action. For the last two years, he served as preacher and lay reader at Trinity Episcopal Church in Greece. He is a faith-filled leader who loves people and community prayer. The parishioners of St. George’s can already attest to these qualities since Greg joined the parish on August 1.
Pastor Greg is proud to be a part of the Episcopal Church for its rich faith tradition, real-life focus, care of the poor, and openness and welcome to all. He is excited to serve the parishioners of St. George’s and others in the greater Hilton area who are searching for meaning and purpose in life.
Sunday services are celebrated at St. George’s, 635 Wilder Road, Hilton, at 10 a.m. with Holy Communion, music, and Sunday School for children. Feel free to call the church at any time for spiritual support, 392-4099.
All are invited to join parishioners at St. George’s on Sunday, September 15, to welcome Pastor Greg to the Hilton community. Worship service will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by an Open House BBQ and ice cream social between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
