Girl Scouts of Western New York invites girls in grades K-12 and their families to attend the free Great Girl Scout Sign Up Event. Girls and their families will explore what Girl Scouts is all about and learn how they can discover their talents and passions in a safe and supportive all-girl, girl-led environment. Girls will also enjoy fun give-a-ways, a scavenger hunt, friendship bracelet making, Girl Scout BINGO, and more. This one-day event will be held October 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rochester Service Center, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Door 9, Rochester.
Girl Scouts takes the potential of girls, combines it with robust skill-building programming, and adds caring adult mentors and strong female role models. Girl Scout volunteering allows adults the opportunity to have shared experiences, bond, and develop deeper and more meaningful connections with their girls compared to other volunteering.
