The GPAS Greece Community Orchestra will present their “17th Annual Christmas Concert” on Sunday, December 1, 4 p.m. at the Italian-American Sports Club, 1250 Buffalo Road, Gates. Directed by Jonathan Allentoff, this family concert will feature vocal soloists Michael DeLuca and Joe Falzone, the IACC Choir, and Westside Brass.
DeLuca will sing “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” “Christmas Waltz,” and “Be a Santa,” and Falzone will perform “Pastorale – Tu scendi dalle stelle.” Falzone will also direct the IACC Choir and appear as guest conductor for the Italian National Anthem. Westside Brass, featuring performers from the Greece Community Orchestra and the Brockport Symphony Orchestra, will welcome in the holidays with new arrangements of traditional Christmas carols. The program also includes holiday favorites from stage and screen, holiday-themed masterpieces, lively dances, and Chanukah songs.
