RMSC Uncorked & On Tap tasting event

Community members are invited to Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) for RMSC Uncorked & On Tap, an evening-long tasting event, on Saturday, March 7, from 6 to 10 p.m.

Guests will sip and sample their way across three levels of the museum. Dozens of local and regional craft beer, wine, spirit, and food vendors will offer their products for people to try, as well as products to purchase. There will be live music by Alphonso Williams and Ben Haravitch.

“This event is a great opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled evening at the RMSC while sampling the amazing local wine, craft beer, and food of our region. It is always one of Rochester’s most popular events, and we love the energy it brings into the museum,” said Lisa E. Ireland, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at RMSC.

Guests are also invited to attend educational seminars throughout the evening. There will be opportunities to explore the science of food and drinks, mixology, viticulture, brewing, and distilling. Additionally, all three floors of exhibits are open to visitors, including the current featured exhibit SciFiTech – an interactive exhibit that explores the impact of science fiction on modern technology.

There will be more than 45 local and regional vendors at the museum, including: 58 Main BBQ & Brew; Three Heads Brewing; Get Caked Bakery; Tommyrotter Distillery; OSB Ciderworks; and nearly a dozen wineries.

RMSC Uncorked & On Tap is a 21 and older event, and attendees must show proof of age at the door. Tickets are $65 general admission, and include a tasting glass, a tote bag, and access to seminars. VIP tickets are $80 and include VIP check-in, champagne welcome, a VIP-only seminar with Lindsay Tarnoff from Laughing Gull Chocolates, and additional tote bag goodies. Visit rmsc.org to purchase tickets.

Proceeds will support all areas of the RMSC including educational programming and exhibits.
