Stage Whispers talk features Kent Lewis
Just how talented do you have to be to appear in certain musicals these days? Very. There have been several Broadway, off-Broadway, and London musicals that have called upon their casts to not only act, sing, and dance, but to play an instrument as well. Once, now being presented at Geva Theatre Center, is one of those shows. Kent Davis, featured in that production, will be the guest at the next Stage Whispers talk, “Quadruple Threats Only Need Apply,” presented by The College at Brockport’s Department of Theatre and Music Studies. The talk will take place on Thursday, March 5, at 10 a.m. in the Tower Fine Arts Center’s Black Box Theatre, 180 Holley Street. The talk is free and open to the public.
Lewis is making his Geva Theatre Center debut in Once. A veteran of the first national tours of Billy Elliot and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the Las Vegas production of Mamma Mia!, and the Off-Broadway premiere of Lerner and Loewe’s The Day Before Spring, Lewis enjoys portraying a wide variety of characters on the stage.
