Because of the restrictions on foodservice caused by the global pandemic, the Hamlin Fire Department has had to cancel four months of Sunday Buffet Breakfasts. These breakfast fundraisers brought in a significant amount of money for the department’s budget. Additionally, the Hamlin Carnival planned for August is also in jeopardy.
In response to this, the department is planning a Spring Lobster Bake fundraiser on Sunday, June 7, that will be set up to follow all social distancing guidelines. Dinners include lobster, salt potatoes, and a roll for $22. Tickets must be purchased online by June 1; no tickets will be sold at the event.
