Warplane fly overs
The National Warplane Museum conducted fly overs on Saturday, May 16, to honor first responders, health care workers, and essential workers. Called “Operation Thanks From Above,” the flight path covered over 80 sites from Fredonia and Buffalo to Rochester and on to Oswego and Syracuse. Joe Pompili captured this shot as the WWII warplane Whiskey 7 (right) led the flight over Spencerport.
