Thousands gathered at Stokoe Farms in Scottsville on Saturday, July 25, to take part in a rally supporting local law enforcement. Many bikers, vehicles, and participants were donning black and blue flags as well as American flags for this non-political event organized by two groups called the Blue Line Ride and True Blue NY. Similar events also took place throughout the region as an opportunity to show support and take a stand for police officers. The ride began at Stokoe Farms and journeyed north on Route 259 through North Chili to Ogden, turned east on Route 31 in Spencerport, and concluded at the Tech Park in Gates. The half-hour ride was made up of motorcycles, classic cars, trucks, and cars bringing up the rear. The Spencerport and Brockport Fire Departments displayed patriotic support using their ladder trucks to hoist a large flag over Route 259. Community residents lined the procession route offering cheerful support and gratitude for law enforcement.
