Baker elected to Ogden Town Board
Election will fulfill a four-year term following a one-year appointment
Aaron Baker was elected to the Ogden Town Board on November 3. He had been appointed to the board in March to fill a vacancy and needed to appear on the ballot to complete the four-year term. Baker vowed to continue to be an advocate for taxpayers as communities across the area deal with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I would like to thank the voters for having the confidence in me to be their voice in town government and to make decisions based on what is best for our community,” said Baker. “I look forward to working with my colleagues in the town and the Village of Spencerport and find ways to collaborate and continue to provide our residents with the excellent customer service that they expect.”
A life-long west-side resident, Baker attended St. John the Evangelist School in Spencerport and St. Lawrence School in Greece, and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Roberts Wesleyan College and works full-time for the New York State Assembly. Prior to his seat on the Town Board, Baker served on the Town of Ogden Zoning Board of Appeals and the Monroe County Planning Board. He lives in Spencerport with his wife, Beverly, and their three children.
