Brockport’s Winter Serenades: 2026 Concert Schedule Announced

Brockport’s annual Winter Serenades music series begins soon. The series features four diverse Sunday-afternoon performances suitable for all ages and musical interests. The events are free, and tickets are not needed. Concerts are held at 3 p.m. at St Luke’s Episcopal Church, on the corner of Main and State Streets. A ramp and stairs lead to the bright red door at the front entrance. Parking is ample on the street and in the lot immediately behind the venue.

The first series event is the Browning-Krug Duo on Sunday, February 8.

Husband-and-wife team Grace Browning (harpist) and Benjamin Krug (cellist) of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra present a program of unique duo arrangements, ranging from symphonic masterpieces to opera arias and popular favorites, many of which they transcribed personally.  This interactive recital of multi-genre works offers new insights into this unique collaboration and the beautiful inner workings of partners in music and in life.

As with all Winter Serenades, a simple reception follows, with an opportunity to meet the artists and visit with friends.  All performances will be live-streamed at stlukesbrockport.org and also available for viewing later. Thanks go to the many local music lovers who support the series with generous donations and to the volunteer committee members who make it all happen.

The second event is on February 22, a late Valentine’s Day presentation with singer/pianist Alan Jones and singer extraordinaire Cindy Miller in “Wild Again, Beguiled Again: Love Songs for Grown-Ups.”

It will be followed by audience favorite Chris Wilson on March 8.

The fourth and final Winter Serenades performanceisMarch 22 – a festive afternoon of traditional Irish music and dance with Western New York’s renowned musicians, John Dady and John Michael Ryan, and friends.
