Winter Fun at The Center
The Greece Department of Parks and Recreation has a full lineup of winter programs for the whole family. From Valentine’s Day cookie decorating and a Daddy Daughter Dance to comedy, trivia, and bingo, there is something for everyone. Registration is required for all participants attending. Love and Laughter
Friday, February 6, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Comedian Dan Viola performs his clean comedy show. Also enjoy snacks and good company. This program is for adults ages 18+. The fee is $15 for residents and $20 for non-residents.
Cookie Decorating 101: Valentine’s Day
Thursday, February 12, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Learn cookie decorating from a professional. Participants will learn how to decorate Valentine’s-themed cookies. Registration includes eight cookies, all frosting colors and embellishments needed, along with a practice sheet, recipes, and a decorating tool. Basic techniques, including piping and flooding, will be covered. Space is limited. Anyone under 18 must sign up with an adult (minimum age 10). The fee is $45 for residents and $50 for non-residents.
Kids Valentine’s Day Cookie Decorating & Coloring
Friday, February 13, 11 a.m. to noon
Kids will enjoy decorating two cookies and coloring a fun Valentine’s Day coloring sheet. All decorations are provided to make the most beautiful and delicious cookies. The fee is $3 for residents and $6 for non-residents.
Daddy Daughter Dance
Friday, February 13, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
This event will include music and dancing, dad-and-daughter bracelet making, crafts, pizza, and beverages. The fee is $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents.
Beat the Winter Blues Family Night
Tuesday, February 17, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Want to do something as a family without breaking the bank? Beat those winter blues and have a fun-filled night with a pizza dinner, gym games, crafts, board games, and an opportunity for all ages to find something they love. The fee is $3 for residents and $6 for non-residents.
A Date with Mommy
Wednesday, February 18, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Children ages five and up are invited to enjoy their time off from school and visit the Center for a Date with Mommy to participate in fun activities, including Gaga Ball, Nerf Wars, Gaming Trailer, and Fort & Lego Building. There will be pizza and refreshments for dinner. The fee is $5 for residents and $8 for non-residents.
Family Trivia
Thursday, February 19, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Test your knowledge across a variety of topics during Family Trivia. For ages 5 and up. Snacks and beverages are provided. The fee is $2 for residents and $4 for non-residents.
Wildlife Rockstars Animal Program
Thursday, February 19, 5 to 6 p.m.
See and learn about a variety of wildlife during this engaging animal program for all ages. The fee is $3 for residents and $5 for non-residents.
Trivia & Pizza Night
Tuesday, February 24, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Adults can enjoy fun-filled general trivia to keep their minds active. Pizza and beverage provided. The fee is $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents.
Winter Nights Bingo Bash
Wednesday, February 25, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
There will be several Bingo games, fun trivia, and, of course, prizes! The theme is Nacho Night. Pick out your favorite toppings and create your masterpiece to eat. The fee is $3 for residents and $6 for non-residents.
