Kyle Mullen, Adjutant of American Legion Post 788, gave a presentation to the Hilton Lions Club on February 19, 2026, about the Legion’s history. Chartered by Congress in 1919, the American Legion is the largest veterans service organization in the United States, with over 1.6 million members. It was founded by World War I veterans in Paris, France, and is currently headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
