Brockport’s Arbor Day Tree Planting

A small group gathered for Brockport’s 20th Arbor Day tree planting on April 24 to plant 13 trees on Frazier Street. Tree planters included Tree Board members, community volunteers, a Village Board member, the Superintendent of Public Works, and three other DPW workers. The Facilities team at SUNY Brockport, a long-time Arbor Day partner, sent shovels and a volunteer. A resident of Frazier Street loaned his side yard for use as a staging area. Tree planters enjoyed pizza at the conclusion of the day’s planting, courtesy of the Tree Board. The DPW will water the trees from now through the fall season.
