Wegmans Concerts by the Shore
Concerts by the Shore is a 39-year Rochester tradition, providing free musical entertainment on Wednesday evenings during the summer, starting at 7 p.m. at Ontario Beach Park, Rochester. Admission is free. Scheduled to perform in June are Nik & The Nice Guys (June 3), Claudia Hoyser (June 10), The Skycoasters (June 17), and Linda Rutherford & Celtic Fire (June 24). Master Gardener Expo & Plant Sale
The Monroe County Master Gardener Program is holding its annual plant sale on Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CCE-Monroe, 2449 St. Paul Boulevard, Rochester. In addition to offering an assortment of annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, trees, shrubs, and house plants, this year’s event will include gently used garden treasures. Various gardening organizations will be on hand to answer questions and offer inspiration. This is an outdoor event, held rain or shine. All sale proceeds go directly toward CCE-Monroe programming.

National Croquet Day
The Rochester Croquet Club is hosting a National Croquet Day event on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Grace and Truth Sports Park, 373 North Greece Road, Hilton. It is a free event for the community to learn more about the sport. Watch live play, try your hand at the game, and compete for prizes. Gates Farmers Market
The 2026 Gates Farmers Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month through October 4. This season, the market is being held in a new location in front of the Gates Public Library, 902 Elmgrove Road. It will feature a Flower Market and Bike Rodeo on June 7 and a Father’s Day Market on June 21. The Farmers Market is run by volunteers from the Gates Conservation Advisory Board/CSC Task Force, making it a free event for residents and vendors to enjoy. Gates Police Bike Rodeo
This fun and educational event is being held in conjunction with the Gates Farmers Market on Sunday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gates Public Library parking lot. It is designed to help young riders learn the rules of the road, improve their biking skills, and stay safe while riding. This event is free for all ages. Whether you want to test your skills on the obstacle course, learn about bike maintenance, or get fitted for a helmet, there is something for everyone. Bring your own bike and helmet, or use the ones available on site.

Jerry J. Helfer Food Truck Rodeo
Enjoy a variety of local food trucks, live music by The Skycoasters, and a family-friendly atmosphere at the Jerry J. Helfer Food Truck Rodeo on Wednesday, June 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Greece Town Hall Campus, 1 Vince Tofany Boulevard. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Jerry J. Helfer Memorial Scholarship Fund. 

Homesteads for Hope’s Thursdays at the Farm
Every Thursday from June 11 through October 15, Homesteads for Hope Community Farm, 2185 Manitou Road, opens at 4:30 p.m. for a relaxed, come-as-you-are kind of night – wander the grounds, check out local vendors, swing by the farm store, or let the kids enjoy pony rides. Enjoy it all from 5 to 8 p.m., with the sun going down on the canal and live music playing in the background. Upcoming performers include Red 7 (June 11), Major SNAFUBAR (June 18), and Mr. Heartache (June 25). Bring your own chairs, coolers, or even a fishing pole, and settle in with good people and good energy. Open to all ages and abilities, there is a $5 suggested donation at the door.

Gates Historical Society America’s 250th Celebration
The Gates Historical Society will host an America’s 250th Celebration on June 14 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Hinchey House, 634 Hinchey Road, Rochester. Enjoy a concert by the Fiddlers of the Genesee. For information, visit gateshistory.org.

Greece Community Night at the Red Wings
Greece residents are invited to come out, show their town pride, and enjoy an evening of baseball on Tuesday, June 16, as the Red Wings take on the Toledo Mud Hens at ESL Ballpark. Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony
The Town of Greece will hold its first annual Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony, celebrating freedom, unity, and community, on Friday, June 19, at 11 a.m. at the Greece Town Hall.

Harborfest
Launch your summer with music, food, a huge carnival, tall ship sails, merchandise vendors, nighttime boat parade, car show, sand sculpture contest, and much more at the 40th Annual Harborfest being held June 18-21 at Ontario Beach Park. Greece Blue Knights Marching Band Car, Truck, & Bike Show
The Greece Blue Knights Marching Band will hold its 2nd Annual Car, Truck, & Bike Show on Sunday, June 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Badgerow Park, 1120 Latta Road, Greece. Pre-register by June 10 for $15 at https://greeceblueknights.boosterhub.com/store/10612; day-of registration will be $20. Features awards, a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles, food and drink, and music by DJ Dougie Fresh. Spectator entry fee is $3.
