Betty Griswald served in various capacities for over thirty years for the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf. Volunteer positions included Chairwomen of the GEFS Board and Chairwoman for volunteers who contact potential clients. When she retired from the latter position, it took four people to replace her. Fortunately, she still adds her expertise to the GEFS Board, which meets monthly. She was honored at lunch at Patty’s Pantry on Dewey Ave, in Greece by a few of her coworkers.
