“This year perhaps more than in previous years, challenged as we have been and continue to be by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is vitally important to recognize the spirit and will to persevere that are the hallmarks of American small business,” said Greece Regional Chamber President/CEO Sarah Lentini.
The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce recently issued a call for nominations for the Chamber’s 2020 Small Business Awards made possible with the Presenting Sponsorship of Genesee Regional Bank,which has supported the signature awards since their inception over a decade ago.
The deadline for submitting nominations for the Small Business of the Year and the Microenterprise of the Year is August 31st.
All nominees will be announced and invited to an event in early fall to be recognized as nominees and to learn about the review and selection process leading to the recognition of six finalists and the announcement of two awardees at the Chamber’s Small Business Awards Luncheon in November.
“This is a great opportunity to nominate a valued business that you’ve come to admire,” continued Lentini. “I hope members of the community will consider submitting a nomination and joining us in celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of small business employers throughout our area.”
