Chamber Accepting Annual Youth Hall of Fame Awards Nominations

This year, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the 31st Annual Youth Hall of Fame Awards, a Chamber initiative with key support from regional businesses and area schools. Induction into the Youth Hall of Fame is an annual award that honors outstanding 11th and 12th grade students who have demonstrated exceptional personal growth and development through their outstanding achievements and contributions to the community.

The 31st Annual Youth Hall of Fame Awards Committee is accepting nominations for students enrolled in 11th or 12th grade in any area public, private, parochial or charter school.  One or more of the following qualities are desirable in Hall of Fame candidates: An exceptional volunteer; an outstanding employee; one who has given service to the community or other peers; one who has coped with a life challenge – physical, social, or mental and one who has overcome a personal tragedy.

Community residents, high school teachers, counselors and administrators, area businesses and residents, community youth agencies and service organizations, who know of a student they think is deserving of one of this year’s Youth Hall of Fame Awards, are encouraged to submit nominations by Friday, April 2, 2021.
