On May 20, 2021, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for new business member Gavia LifeCare Center, 1343 Long Pond Road. Gavia Executive Director and majority owner Dr. Sherry Nau spoke to those assembled, underscoring that Gavia LifeCare Center, LLC is, “based on the belief that everyone is doing the best they can with the knowledge they have. Gavia’s mission is to ensure that every mental health clinician and client is equipped with the necessary resources to cope with the many demands they encounter, thus improving their quality of life on a daily basis.”
Joining Gavia at the celebration were Greece Chamber President and CEO Sarah Lentini; Chamber Board Chair David Perotto of Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home; Miranda Konar, representing New York State Senator Jeremy Cooney (56th District); New York State Assemblyman Joshua Jensen (District 134); and Town of Greece Councilmen Michael Barry, Jr. and William Murphy, in addition to many colleagues, clients, friends, and Chamber members.
