Greece American Legion families including the Auxiliary, Sons, and Riders, donated over $500 to buy gifts for the Toys for Tots Campaign.
Many individuals from the Legion and community also donated to Toys for Tots, the toy box was emptied three times, each time overflowing with toys. Legion members also contributed to the hat and mitten tree that collected three large boxes of hats, mittens and scarfs for the Veterans Outreach Center Families.
Each Christmas season, the American Legion provides Christmas for two Veteran Families in need of a little assistance. Snacks and activities during the children’s school break, along with needed winter coats and Christmas gifts for the entire family are included. The Greece American Legion Post #468 is happy to help make Christmas a little brighter for area families.
