Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation Receives Grant from Ukrainian FCU

The Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation recently received a grant in the amount of $2,500 from the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union. A formal check presentation ceremony was held at the corporate headquarters for the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union, located at 824 East Ridge Road in Rochester. The CEO of the Credit Union, Oleg Lebedko, presented the check to be used in support of administrative and operational expenses for the Charitable Foundation. On hand to accept the check were Charitable Foundation Board President Michael A. Mordenga, Board Vice President Sarah E. Lentini, and Board Treasurer Gilbert Cooper.

The Ukrainian Federal Credit Union (UFCU) was founded in 1953 by Ukrainian-Americans in Rochester, New York, and provides service in English and Ukrainian languages to meet the needs of over 22,000 members. The credit union with assets exceeding $345 million has 13 full-service branch offices from coast to coast in 7 states – 5 branches in upstate New York including Buffalo, Amherst, Rochester, Webster and Syracuse – and employs more than 80 individuals. The Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation (GCCF) was created in 2002.
