Ridge Road Fire District receives grant
Grant is part of more than $71 million given by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to public safety organizations across the U.S.
Ridge Road Fire District (RRFD) is prepared to keep Greece safe thanks to a grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The Foundation recognized our need for new lifesaving equipment and awarded us $19,162 for seven automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Please join us on October 21, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Firehouse Subs Henrietta location, 2830 W. Henrietta Rd, as we accept the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant.
“We are extremely grateful to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and our local Firehouse Subs in Rochester for providing us with this grant,” said Brian Gebo, Battalion Chief, Ridge Road Fire District. “This funding will allow us to provide even greater support to the citizens of Greece during emergency situations.”
The awarded AEDs have the newest technology and allow for better interface with our ambulance provider. RRFD runs approximately 6,000 calls a year and carries an AED into every medical call.
For the past 16 years, donations have been the driving force behind Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® supporting first responders and public safety organizations nationwide. To learn more about Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation or donate directly, visit FirehouseSubsFoundation.org.
