Greece Post 468 claimed its second straight New York State American Legion Senior Division Championship on July 27, 2023, with a 7-6 win over Broundshidle Post 205.
Before the 2022 tournament, a Rochester-area team had not won an American Legion state title in 55 years.
NOTE: Greece advanced to the Northeast Regional Tournament held August 2-6, 2023, in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. The Greece team was eliminated on August 6, in Game 14, the Semi-Final round, by the Nashau, NH team. Final score was Greece 2, NH 3.
