On Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 2:00PM, the Greece Historical Society, along with the local chapters of the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold a dedication at Falls Cemetery, located at the corner of Latona and West Ridge Road, to honor five Patriots who fought in the American Revolution and are buried in this cemetery.
The Patriots are:
Naham Benedict (1762-1839)
Phillip Caldwell (1761-1841)
Charles Norton (1748-1837)
James Clark (1757-1827)
Daniel Warner (1748-1839)
Patriot biographies will be read, along with a history of the Town of Greece and Falls Cemetery, which will be shared with attendees. The event is free and all interested community members are invited to attend.
