VFW Post 4658 hosts a Walk 22 for Veterans
THEY MARCHED FOR US… WE WALK FOR THEM In support of Veteran Suicide Awareness
VFW Post 4658 will host a Walkathon for Veterans on September 22, 2024 at the American Legion Post 468, 344 Dorsey Road, Greece, NY at 2:22 PM. We are losing 22 veterans a day to this epidemic and we need to raise veteran suicide awareness.
$1.00 Registration fees are going to the Commander’s Homeless Veterans Special Project to Assist in Suicide Prevention Awareness.
Please join us for a 22-minute walk to be held by the VFW Post 4658 at the American Legion Post 468, 344 Dorsey Road, Greece NY 14616. Sunday, September 22, 2024. Registration at 1:30PM. Walk at 2:22PM.
A 50/50 raffle and basket raffle will be held with proceeds split between VFW Post 4658 and the local Veterans Outreach Center located at 447 South Avenue to assist veterans in crisis.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.
We have many programs and services that work to support veterans, service members and their families, as well as communities worldwide.
