Greece NY News

From the office of The Supervisor, Bill Reilich

As the warmer weather settles in, I’m looking forward to sharing all the exciting details of our upcoming Summer Town Events!

We hope you’ll join us for our annual Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance Ceremony on Monday, May 26. The parade begins at 11 a.m., traveling along Long Pond Road from Janes Road to the Greece Town Hall Campus. Following the parade, we’ll gather at the Town Hall Pavilion at 11:45 a.m. for a meaningful ceremony honoring those who gave their lives in service to our country. Please note that parking will be available at the Greece Town Campus until approximately 10:45 a.m., and road closures will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on parts of Long Pond and Janes Roads.

Save the date for the Jerry J. Helfer Memorial Food Truck Rodeo and Summer Concert, happening Wednesday, June 4, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Town Campus. This free event will feature live music from the Zac Brown Tribute Band and a variety of delicious options from local food trucks. It’s always a crowd favorite and a great way to kick off the summer season!

And of course, don’t miss our Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration – a full day of fun starting with the Freedom Run 5K and Kids Fun Run, followed by games, food trucks, concerts, and the area’s best fireworks show! More details will be shared soon.

As always, I value your feedback and love hearing from residents. For updates on these events and more, visit our website or social media pages.
