Auxiliary members attend Legion Family College

Four members of the American Legion Auxiliary Greece Post 468 attended the American Legion Family College of New York for a three-day learning session about the Legion’s programs and families. The event was held at Morrisville State College. Graduates of the Legion College of New York, Class of 2025 included Pamela Babcock, Cindy Sharick, Tracey Woodard, and Erika Zobel.
The Legion Family consists of the American Legion, the Sons of the American Legion, the Legion Auxiliary, and the American Legion Riders. The curriculum covered the five pillars of the largest veterans’ organization in the country: Americanism, Children and Youth, Community Service, Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Service, and National Security.
The Legion Auxiliary was founded in 1919 and administers volunteer programs contributing many hours to its communities and veterans. The Auxiliary encompasses the spirit of America that has prevailed through war and peace.
