Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce names John Adams as new President and CEO
The Executive Board of Directors of the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of John Adams as the organization’s new President and CEO, following the retirement of current President and CEO Joe Robach.
Adams is a seasoned business executive with over four decades of experience spanning banking, telecommunications, and franchise development. He previously served as Chair of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and is widely recognized in the region as The Too Tall Franchise Guy, a senior franchise consultant with TooTall.biz. His deep roots in the local business community and strategic insight make him well-positioned to lead the Chamber into its next chapter.
“I’m honored to take the helm at a time when the Chamber is poised for continued growth and renewed relevance,” said Adams. “Helping businesses thrive has been the focus of my entire career. I look forward to working closely with our board, our members, and the wider community to ensure that the Chamber remains a vital resource for economic development and regional success.”
Retiring CEO Joe Robach applauds the transition, stating, “It has been a privilege to serve the Chamber and its members. I have full confidence that John Adams will bring vision, energy, and strong leadership to the role. His business acumen and passion for service will serve the Chamber well.”
Robach also offered words of appreciation for longtime Executive Assistant Sue Terry, who is also stepping down after nine years with the organization. “Sue has been the Chamber’s backbone, especially during the challenges of COVID. Her dedicated work and relationship with Chamber members kept the Chamber moving forward during difficult times.”
