The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce is concluding a dynamic season of activity and community engagement with a series of standout events. In November, the Chamber was honored to be featured on WROC’s First Friday, highlighting local businesses, upcoming programs, and the Chamber’s role in supporting economic growth throughout the region.
The season continued with Johnny D’s First Friday Networking Breakfast on December 5, bringing together professionals, business owners, and community partners for meaningful networking and a year-end celebration.
Looking ahead, the Chamber is preparing for one of its signature annual traditions: the 37th Annual Community Awards Gala Celebration, taking place Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Chef’s Event Center & Party House in Spencerport. This year’s Presenting Sponsor is West Herr, and the Chamber is proud to announce that Scott Bieler, President & CEO of West Herr, will serve as both Presenting Sponsor and Featured Speaker.
Nominations Now Open
Nominations for the 37th Annual Community Awards are open through December 15, 2025, with opportunities to recognize exceptional individuals, businesses, and organizations across categories including Business Person of the Year, First Responder of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Arts & Culture Award, Education Award, Environment Award, Health Award, History Award, Building Award (New & Existing), and the Thomas E. Schommer Spirit of the Chamber Award.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Community Drives and Seasonal Giving
The Chamber is supporting several community initiatives this December, including a Holiday Food Drive, the Pirate Toy Fund Drive, and a Food & Clothing Drive in partnership with Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf & Clothing Closet, Inc. Donations are accepted at the Chamber office to support families and children during the holiday season.

Additional Seasonal Highlights
This fall also marked the launch of the Business Voice with Renewed Mind podcast, spotlighting regional insights, business success stories, and community conversations. The Chamber also celebrated the Grand Opening of Boscov’s at The Mall at Greece Ridge, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by business leaders, community partners, and elected officials.
To close out the year, the Chamber will host a festive Holiday Open House Drop-In on December 18, featuring light refreshments and holiday cheer.
