The Ecological History of Hamlin Beach State Park

The Greece Historical Society’s evening program on Tuesday, April 14, explores “The History of Hamlin Beach State Park, from the Perspective of an Ecologist.” The presentation begins at 7 p.m. at the Greece Public Library, 2 Vince Tofany Boulevard.
Journey through time as Lara Hargrave, an environmental educator for New York State Parks, discusses the natural forces and historical events that have shaped the beloved State Park. She will also reveal what local landscapes and lifeforms can tell us about our past.
