As summer winds down and our students head back to the classroom, I want to wish every child, parent, and educator in the town of Greece a safe and successful new school year.
Back to school season is always a great reminder of what makes our community special – bus stops filling up with excited kids, crossing guards back on duty, and neighbors looking out for one another. As traffic picks up around our schools, I ask all residents to slow down, stay alert, and give our students the extra care they deserve, especially in school zones and near bus stops.
This is also a wonderful time to take advantage of everything our town has to offer. The Greece Public Library has fantastic resources for students of all ages, our parks and recreation programs offer great after-school options, and our Town Hall team is always here to help families connect with local resources.
To all our students: work hard, be kind, and have a great school year. To our teachers and school staff: thank you for everything you do. And to our parents and guardians: we’re here to support you. Here’s to a fantastic 2026-2027 school year in the town of Greece!
