Ceremony September 6
The Brockport Central School District Athletic Wall of Honor Committee announces the 2013 Induction Class of Rikki Cannioto, BHS Class of 1988; Dan Cline, BHS Class of 1951; Earl Cline, BHS Class of 1953; Al Cretney, BHS Class of 1958; Pat Luskey, BHS Class of 1965; Dave Martens, former BCSD Athletic Director; Stacy Rockow, BHS Class of 1975 and Carolyn Sweeting, BHS Class of 1984. Additionally, the 2003 Brockport High School New York State Hockey Championship team will also be inducted. They will join fifty-two former inductees on Brockport’s Athletic Wall of Honor honored for their contributions during their time at BHS and for their distinguished lifetime. Started in 2004, The Wall of Honor Committee reviews nominations and selects former athletes, coaches, and supporters of interscholastic athletics for induction to the Athletic Wall of Honor. Plaques including a photo and biography of all honorees are hung on the wall in the Oliver Middle School Gymnasium Foyer.
Community members are invited to attend this year’s Induction Ceremony on Friday, September 6 beginning with a social gathering at 5:30 p.m. in the Oliver Middle School Cafeteria, 40 Allen Street, Brockport. The Induction Ceremony will follow at 6:30 p.m. The 2013 Inductees will be introduced at halftime of the football game, starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Dahn Walrath Stadium.
