Erin Scheider has joined the Hilton Central School District as assistant principal at Hilton High School replacing Scott Wilson, who accepted a position as principal at Batavia High School.
Over the past seven years, Schneider worked as an English teacher/leader at Pittsford Mendon High School where she also completed her administrative internship. Prior to that, she taught in the Rochester City School District and worked for the Upward Bound program at The College at Brockport, teaching French and SAT verbal skills to at-risk youth.
Schneider earned her undergraduate degree in English and political science at SUNY Geneseo. Her master’s degree in education and administrative certificate were earned at The College at Brockport.
A resident of Penfield, Schneider is married to Douglas Schneider, a science teacher for the Rochester City School District. The couple has two daughters, Natalie, age four, and Molly, age three months.
