Mia Simpson and her neighbor and friend, Austin Ennis, are entrepreneurs with big hearts. They set up a lemonade stand in Brockport with all proceeds going to Duffy’s Friends, a dog and cat rescue group.
On Sunday, August 18, they proudly delivered $19.93 to Laurie LoMonaco, a Duffy’s Friends volunteer, who gratefully accepted the donation on behalf of this group. LoMonaco said the non-profit group also acknowledges recent donations made which were generated by information placed in Westside News Inc. newspapers.
