A rededication ceremony of the World War I Memorial in Hickory Park in the Village of Bergen is planned for Wednesday, September 11, at 6:30 p.m. American Legion Post #575 Financial Officer Tom Williamson has been working with DPW Supervisor Ken Steinmetz and Village Trustee Anna Marie Barclay to organize the program and ready the park for the event. Assemblyman Steve Hawley will attend and participate in the ceremony along with the Legion Color Guard and members, Bergen Triangle Club (original contributors of the Memorial), Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Everyone is welcome to attend.
