The Spencerport Fire District accepted a donation from Ann and Bob Lacey, seen here with Chief Doug Case and their dogs, Taylor and Kendall.
The Laceys provided the fire fighters with a Pet Oxygen Mask kit which contains three sizes of reusable masks.
The Laceys, unfortunately, had a house fire in 2008. Thankfully, they were not home and they had their dogs with them. Friends of theirs were not so fortunate and lost a dog in a fire. It was then that Bob and Ann found out about the pet oxygen mask initiative. The Laceys felt that this donation would be a way to thank the department for their efforts in 2008 and to help with pet care at fire scenes.
