Local highway superintendent receives award
Warren Kruger, Superintendent of Highways, Town of Kendall, received a 25-year attendance award at the 69th Annual School for Highway Superintendents held June 4 at Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York.
Around 700 local highway and public work officials attend the Annual School for Highway Superintendents (Highway School) every year. The Highway School features short presentations of general interest to highway officials in the mornings and afternoon workshops lasting 75 minutes each. Demonstrations of new and innovative highway maintenance and technology are also given.
The Cornell Local Roads Program LTAP Center provides training, technical assistance, and information to municipal officials and employees responsible for the maintenance, construction, and management of local highways and bridges in New York State.
