In March of this year, the Village of Spencerport Board of Trustees instituted a local law effecting refuse removal. By June 2016 all homeowners will be required to use the green 96 gallon rolling refuse containers sold by the Village regardless of the amount of trash generated or storage options. New equipment is now in place to lift and dump village issued containers. These easy to roll containers will hold more than the 3 cans allowed now, are less likely to blow around in the wind and provide a uniform and neat street appearance.
