Every year, volunteers meet on the Saturday before Memorial Day to beautify Hilton’s Main Street. The volunteers plant that day and maintain the flower boxes throughout the summer with the help of the Village of Hilton.
Green Acre Nursery donates the flowers, Mike Kopek oversees the planting. Holly McNair organizes the volunteers. Volunteers this year included cub scouts, girl scouts, Hilton Heat U15 Boys, Hilton Youth Lacrosse, Knights of Columbus, Hilton Garden Club and Mainly Books.
On behalf of the Village of Hilton, Mayor Joe Lee (left) thanked all the volunteers for their efforts.
