Appleby just retired from a 15 year stint on the Village Planning Board, is an Olympics of the Mind internationally rated judge, has had a long standing involvement with scouts and many other good deeds to his credit. Former BISCO presidents Pat Baker and George Dahl spoke to Appleby’s many community efforts and his reputation as the consummate volunteer – always saying yes to a worthwhile cause.
