The ever-popular Kid Clover made an appearance at the Orleans County 4-H Fair Saturday, July 30, sporting new headgear.Gideon Pask of Barre has some fun with the Bufflaced Polish chicken he showed during the 2016 Orleans County 4-H Fair held the week of July 25-30.Members of the “Last Chance” Greased Pole competition team try to make their way up the pole Saturday evening, July 30, during the Orleans County 4-H Fair. The team consisted of 4-H alumni including Zack Blackburn of Middleport and Chantelle Kidney of Medina who got engaged at the Fair two days prior. The couple agreed to their first date during the fair four years ago. “Last Chance” was unsuccessful at reaching the top. The winners of the 2016 Greased Pole Climbing competition were The Troll Diggers.
