At their October 4 monthly meeting, the Board of Directors of BISCO (Brockport Integrated Service and Community Organization) approved a donation for the purchase of a new swing set for Corbett Park. “We hope this gesture will help with the Village’s refurbishment efforts to bring the park and playground back to their maximum potential,” said Art Appleby, BISCO President.
In accepting the check from Mr. Appleby recently, Mayor Margay Blackman commented, “We are fortunate to have BISCO, a group comprised of local organizations such as Brockport Kiwanis, Lions, Rotary, Fire Department, Elks and community members, consistently supporting projects that benefit children and contribute to the betterment of the greater Brockport community.”
