Union Congregational Church was “Bubbling with Joy” in the Lions’ Country Fair Parade in Churchville on Saturday, August 19. Their float featured a replica of the church along with children and adults shooting bubbles into the air and providing kazoo music. Other parishioners marched along the float passing out bottles of bubbles and bookmarks to spectators. The church’s booth at the Fair – the “Fish Pond” – also attracted much attention. Children were delighted with their “catches” and often returned to the booth for another “catch.” Linda Burlingame’s expertise in shopping made many “catches” exceptional.
